to me, lighting design is all about play, compromise, and instinct.

at times i have sat and stared at a color wheel for what feels like days and sometimes it takes one try. light is subjective in a way we cannot understand. i’ll never know if my purple is your purple but what i’m trying to acheieve goes beyond color and light and focuses in on how certain elements make you quiver, cry, or jubilate.
